AMS Radio It’s hard to pinpoint just one influence, clearly some 80s new wave, blues, rock and roll, but also super modern alternative like Gorillaz. It’s awesome! Favorite track: Funky Underpants.

EclecticMusicLover Not only are Marc's songs infectiously catchy, he has a wonderful knack for putting a youthful, often tongue-in-cheek perspective on everyday situations and problems many of us have faced at one time or another. "There Is No Down" delivers six optimistic tracks assuring us that, no matter how crappy things may seem at the moment, there’s always reason to celebrate. Favorite track: Elevators.

Typing with my thumbs on a Princess phone. God, I’d hate to spend another night alone. Calling on a friend to spring me from my cage And remind me to forget to act my age. I want to sing. I want to dance. I want to wear a pair of funky underpants. I’ll take a drink. I’ll take a chance. I’ll take the world on in my funky underpants. Wishing I could dream, dreaming I could fly. Waiting on a world where we never die. I could be a saint or I could live in sin. I could live forever if my life would just begin. I want to sing. I want to dance. I want to wear a pair of funky underpants. I’ll take a drink. I’ll take a chance. I’ll take the world on in my funky underpants. I'm gonna shut that party down tonight. I'm gonna shut that party down. If I can just get off the ground tonight, You know I'm never coming down. I want to sing. I want to dance. I want to wear a pair of funky underpants. I’ll take a drink. I’ll take a chance. I’ll take the world on in my funky underpants. Squeezing out a message in staccato bursts I want to party hard and laugh until it hurts Want to ride the line between life and death I want to ride the night ‘til I’m out of breath. I'm gonna shut that party down tonight. I'm gonna shut that party down.

Feel Free 03:39
You ride the lightning like a bicycle I beat my drum all over town You cast a sideways glance and suddenly My little world turns upside down Everyone says we should know better, but I never could tell wrong from right Let’s hit the town like we won’t remember it Let’s disappear into the night. I’m up to no good, and you’re just as bad This could be the best time I ever had I’m looking at you, you’re looking at me. Is this what it’s like to feel free? Paper the past with all your skeletons, Then turn the page to face the day. Tear it in two and start another life We’ll work it out along the way. I’m up to no good, and you’re just as bad This could be the best time I ever had I’m looking at you, you’re looking at me. Is this what it’s like to feel free? I’ll be the one who makes you miserable. I’ll be the one who makes you scream. I’ll be the one who’s always there for you. I’ll be the one who haunts your dreams. I’m up to no good, and you’re just as bad This could be the best time I ever had I’m looking at you, you’re looking at me. Is this what it’s like to feel free?

All We Are 03:36
There is no up. There is no down. There's only spinning around and round. All we are is right now. The moon and stars, the sea and sky. Sometimes we live. Sometimes we die. All we are is right now. The clouds roll in. The seasons change. We disappear. The world remains. All we are is right now.

Elevators 04:30
Keep the fire burning. Hold the wolves at bay. If we survive to morning, We might live another day. We used to ride in elevators, Look down on the world below. We used to ride in elevators Though we had nowhere to go. We used to ride We used to ride We used to ride In elevators. Strange to think we didn’t Always live like this. Stranger still to think of all The little things I miss. We used to ride in elevators, Look down on the world below. We used to ride in elevators Though we had nowhere to go. We used to ride We used to ride We used to ride In elevators. When the whole thing fell apart, It fell apart so fast. But then I've never been so big On living in the past. We used to ride in elevators, Look down on the world below. We used to ride in elevators Though we had nowhere to go. We used to ride We used to ride We used to ride In elevators. So keep the fire burning To get us through the night. The wolves are creeping closer, but I think we’ll be all right. We used to ride in elevators, Look down on the world below. We used to ride in elevators Though we had nowhere to go. We used to ride We used to ride We used to ride In elevators.

Call It a Kindness Let’s not pretend we didn’t play a part. We knew where this was going from the start. You with your fireworks, me with my flood, Trails of tears and rivers of blood. Call it a kindness, call it a mercy Call it the act we’ve all been rehearsing. Call it a mercy, call it a kindness, Call it a day and put the whole thing behind us. One hand on the light switch and one foot out the door Why do I feel like we’ve been here before? Promised ourselves we’d never cross this line, Then scratched it out at least a hundred times Call it a kindness, call it a mercy Call it the act we’ve all been rehearsing. Call it a mercy, call it a kindness, Call it a day and put the whole thing behind us. A little less love and a little more Common decency should even the score. And when our eyes meet at the end of days, We’ll raise a glass and go our separate ways. Call it a kindness, call it a mercy Call it the act we’ve all been rehearsing. Call it a mercy, call it a kindness, Call it a day and put the whole damn thing behind us.
