Read the room for a change: The sun is shining backward, Days are brutal and strange, And dripping with disaster. Lead me to the water. Drown me in the well. Call it law and order, And tell me we’re all doing swell. Something weird in the way You made yourself a martyr Boning up every day But never getting smarter. Lead me to the water. Drown me in the well. Like a lamb to slaughter. And tell me we’re all doing swell. All the world is a stage, And the theater’s burning You were queen for a day Now the worm is turning. Lead me to the water. Drown me in the well. Like a lamb to slaughter. And tell me we’re all doing swell.

Everything’s a joke until it isn’t. Everything is fun before the fade. You look around and see how much you’re missing And start to wonder how much you’ve been played. I’d love to stick around for your next episode, But something’s calling me from somewhere far away. We could have been a thing. I guess we’ll never know. Remember me the way I looked on my best day. Funny how in dreams I’ve never met you, Even so, I’m haunted by your name: A little voice that won’t let me forget you Though it needs to leave you all the same. I’d love to stick around for your next episode, But something’s calling me from somewhere far away. We could have been a thing. I guess we’ll never know. So just remember how I looked on my best day. It’s your world now. It’s your world now. It’s your world now. It’s your world now. Everything is sad until it isn’t. Everything is dark before the day. Even when you see how much you’re missing. You’re gonna keep on moving anyway. I’d love to stick around for your next episode, But something’s calling me from somewhere far away. We could have been a thing. I guess we’ll never know. Remember me the way I looked on my best day. It’s your world now. It’s your world now. It’s your world now. It’s your world now. It’s your world now. It’s your world now.

A crash, a call. The rush before the fall. A trace of fear. Your message is unclear. I wish I could take away your pain. No hope. No choice. I hear it in your voice. The love you seek Is always out of reach. I wish I could take away your pain. Words fail, words hurt. Words only make it worse. A truth, a lie, Whatever gets you by. I wish I could take away your pain.

Who’s that cat with the burlap sack Bad little kids squirming in the back? Krampus is coming, Krampus is coming. Krampus is coming, Better lock your door. Who’s that beast with the pointy tongue, Thick black fur and a taste for the young? Krampus is coming, Krampus is coming. Krampus is coming, Better lock your door. Who’s that fella with the horny head, Cloven hooves creeping up to your bed? Krampus is coming, Krampus is coming. Krampus is coming, Better lock your door.

In my mind, I'm doing fine, And it's 1989: Blue lips, sugar and slime, And Betty White is still alive. I still believe we all can shine And turn water into wine. No one is left behind, And Betty White is alive.

about

Why isn't this an EP? Mainly because it's just a collection of singles I'm putting out over the next few months (or that I've already put out). There's really no unifying thread, and the tracks don't even sound all that similar to each other. That said, I wanted to share them all at once, largely because I hate waiting.
